Katie Paulson - Chair
What I did this week:
club fair; talked to club advocates re: appropriations board meeting; worked on letter for hgh-ranking faculty; worked in storage; letter for food bank (Clay's thing); board retreat agenda

My plans for the future:
meeting with Dan Adams; meet with Joelle to work on Reunion plans; get storage key from Tonya; do paperwork for approps just in case; meet with Laura & Astrid to nail down budget; get rid of that desk in storage; meet with each board member this week to discuss stuff

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
Appropriations first meeting: September 12th (may be too late for CCI)

Does anyone see Tonya?

I need days available for lunches with Dan Adams!

Ideas for who should get Charlie:
Garrett: he went to almost all freshman orientations, even ones at the last second; worked the club fair for 3 hours

Laura Ory - Vice Chair
What I did this week:
Got info. on first aid classes
Posted info. on Food Cert. classes
Called the Santa Rita Clarion
Called the AZ Dept. of Ed.

My plans for the future:
Call hotels
Find out about speakers for the club

Compiling stats from Event Reports
Hotel/ Board Retreat ideas
First Aid Class
ASUA funding for First Aid/ CPR training

Kathleen Applegate - Day Activities
What I did this week:
Spent more money on books than I thought possible.
Almost had a brain explosion from the amount of information I'm having to store for Anatomy and Physiology.
Talked to my Special PE teacher about DA at the ASDB.

My plans for the future:
Set up a DA committee.
Plan DA for September and look into October.

Items you would like on the weekly email:
If you are interested in joining the Day Activities Committe and did not sign up at the meeting, please email me with your Name, Email Address, and Times you are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Someone who helped a ton over the summer :)

Wireless routers, cable guys, AC, and Benadryl Bite Sticks..

Wants to adapt a CW game for the deaf and blind.

Clayton Clark - Camps Coordinator
What I did this week:
Wrote an agenda, made reservations with Bee-Line, got a message from Katie saying that I'd made reservations for the wrong date, re-made the reservations for the correct date, made an appointment with the Com. Food Bank, met with the Food Bank rep. and told him how we just threw out a couple gallons of 20yr. old syrup from IHOP, and organized storage.

My plans for the future:
Help CCI directors and quit one of my jobs.

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
Howdy.

Asbestos and catheters. Yeah... I said it.


Ceccato Christina & Grace Clark - Fundraising
What I did this week:
We contacted Centennial Hall, the Rialto Theater and Club Congress inquiring about booking the 3rd week in November for the benefit concert. Grace also found out that The Format is playing in Tucson on November 9th, but will be up at ASU on November 10th. We called Lucky Strike to find out about setting up a bowl-a-thon, and got some good information.

My plans for the future:
Try and talk to Cory about helping us organize (find bands that can participate). Wait for correspondence from the different places Grace called. Create sign-up lists for concession stand helpers. Once we get the okay from the board, start setting & organizing up the bowl-a-thon next month. Choose a venue chosen within the next two weeks.

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
Need to discuss the bowl-a-thon, if it sounds like a good idea or not. Discuss the different music venues and the beneift concert in general. Possibly have a babysitting night/or playday to the zoo or something.

Items you would like on the weekly email:
Reminder that the first football concessions is on September 10th at 4PM.

Grace decorating her room with posters, Tina's new roommate is super nice, Yankees are awesome!


Derrick Pooyouma - Donations
What I did this week:
I found all the donation information I needed
Signed up for the concession thing
Worked on donations for CCI

My plans for the future:
Continue to call for Donations for CCI
Work on getting donation folder all up todate

Points of Pride:
Hanging out and meeting frat brothers from three different chapters. Making new friends! Getting through the week alive


Joelle de la Vara - Alumni Relations
What I did this week:
Picked up returned reunion letters from office and alphabetized them :)

My plans for the future:
Make a list of names and take it to Alumni Association to get current addresses.

my new apartment, finally taking classes that pertain to my major, the board and peanut butter :)


Elizabeth Haim - Secretary
What I did this week:
I emailed with Chelsea Olsen about getting access and I went to the club fair for a little.

My plans for the future:
Cleaning up and organizing the office. Organizing and updating the directors resource center. Making sure that everyone who needs access go it.

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
Anca and Astrid did not email me. Should Nicole get access. Getting the keys to storage.

Ideas for who should get Charlie:
Garrett because he was at the Club fair all day. Katie has been doing everything.

Points of Pride:
My 21st b-day, crayons, and Katie for doing a great job!


Astrid Duffy - Treasurer
What I did this week:
Moved into my apartment and registered for classes.

My plans for the future:
Get put on the bank account. Go over budget. Get some fish for my fish tank.

Points of Pride:
Cooking dinner three nights in a row.


Katie Paulson/Garrett Hoxie - Other (Event Directors)
What I did this week:
recruited; printed fliers; evaluated tent situation; gave menu to Derrick; got buses reserved;

My plans for the future:
contacting speakers; start making donation calls; get people to apply; hang up fliers around campus; preliminary budget; contact Food Bank; buy tents?; pick IO/head cook

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
Nada (will do buget next time)

Other Meeting Minutes: Carb Boom changed it's name to Sun Burst.

CW is not a recognized club, that will be fixed in a week.
