Camp Wildcat Board Meeting Minutes: 3/20/2005

Audrey Nieman - Chair
What I did this week:
-passed out 40 applications at La Cima
-received 10 completed applications from kids (they're due this Tuesday)
-began interviews
-emailed menu to Tonya, Laura and Betsy
-schedule for camp and prelim budget will be done before the meeting today


My plans for the future:
-make reminder announcements on La Cima's video announcements Monday and Tuesday
-Meet with Laura and Betsy
-more interviews

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
would any board members be willing to interview people for AC2? or I can do phone interviews

Items you would like on the weekly email:
Apply for camp and sign up for an interview!! This Wednesday (March 22) is the last day to apply.

Anca Niculescu - Vice Chair
What I did this week:
I applied for Adventure camp, recruited on the mall last last Thursday, Went to basketball concessions, and cancelled the CPR/1st aid training

My plans for the future:
let members know about upcoming CPR/1st aid training dates, make some killer donation calls

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
More recruiting on the mall- its fun and effective!

my sissy the beautiful bride, parked on the beach and sleeping in the back seat with friends, triscuits and avocado!


Katie Paulson - Day Activities
What I did this week:
Monday recruiting; helped Garrett rebuild CW computer; applied to AC1; Smita directing Mock Camp; Tina directing Spring activity with ACC

My plans for the future:
talk to Christi; find directors for Brewster Center Activities; talked about running summer day activities

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
When are summer chair/treasurer elections?
We should tell gen. members when board elections are AND elections for Summer Camp I

Items you would like on the weekly email:
Katie is still looking for two lovely individuals to direct the Brewster Center Day Acitivites on Monday, April 4th and Thursday, April 7th! If anyone wants experience with directing a day activity or just wants a grand ol' time, please let Katie know if you're interested (kathrynp@email.arizona.edu)

Laura Ory - Camps Coordinator
What I did this week:
Made reservation for bus for AC2
Had a storage cleaning party
Worked basketball concessions
Recruited people on the mall

My plans for the future:
Meet with Audrey and Betsy

Clayton Clark - Campus Relations
What I did this week:
I helped with recruiting on the mall, met with Bryan Keintz.

My plans for the future:
New T-shirt design, weekly dinner social, hiking social, find drivers for Madera Canyon. Either the workday or apply to Audrey's camp.

Things I need to discuss or share with the board:
We get a second chance to do surveys, but Nicole probably already discussed this. Where should we have the weekly dinner social? For a the new t-shirt, should I do a retro design or like a college-style design with the UA logo?

Wetsuits and tents keeping me warm over break.

Anna Westendorf - Treasurer
What I did this week:
spring break, so nothing really...went to concessions yesterday for a few hours

My plans for the future:
collect board auction money, decide about ticket stuff with Nicole, deposit checks, update records

sales and crappy vegas motels
